Our mission is to become the king of second hand camera websites.  Our strategy is finally starting to work, and we are really gaining traction with the search engines, which really is very good news.

I must admit that after a couple of weeks I was a little disappointed because secondhandcamera.co.uk was only showing on page 15 of google for most second hand camera related search results.

The good news is that we are now showing on page 2 and 3 for most search terms, which should result in more visitors to the site :).  This is fantastic news.

So, as you can see, people are now definitely finding us by entering top second hand camera related search terms.  This is fantastic news, as it means that people advertising second hand camera equipment definitely have an audience here.  Hopefully soon we will be on page 1 of the major search engines for the best second hand camera related search terms.

We still believe that this will be a very useful website for everyone who wants to buy and sell second hand camera equipment but we realise that we have much more work to do to make it the king of UK based second hand camera websites.

Our original plan was to charge people to list their camera equipment.  Of course the problem is we are a new website, and we do not have £1000's to advertise in (although, so far we have spent £100's!).  In short, we are calling for your help.  Our plan is to reach 1000 unique visitors per day.

3) We are looking for guest blogs, so if you own a photography blog, and would like to talk about your favourite camera equipment, or anything related to photography then we really like for you to post a guest blog.

4) Register as a member (membership is free, and we never sell your personal information - we only use your details to help us administrate your website).  

5) Last, but certainly not least! Please advertise any camera equipment you are looking to sell - all you need to do is create your free account and create an advert (all adverts are reviewed and approved.)
