Most photographers who like to share their work have a website, blog or gallery page these days. I'm no exception, although you will see from mine that it is very much lacking in the photo department at the moment but I plan on filling it up this year.
I think the reason is because I am my own biggest critic, and to be honest, I'm not 100% happy with any of the photos I have taken - I can always see something that I should have done differently or better. However, I am still very new at all this, and photography is like music, you have to learn the theory and then learn how to put it into practice. The more practice you get the better you become.
In the book Outliers buy Malcolm Gladwell, he explains that world class experts often have over 10,000 hours experience and teachers have 2500 + hours. So on that scale, I have calculated that by the time I am 50, I should be just about know what I'm doing!
My new personal blog (which has my photography gallery) is here http://www.marcallington.com and I would really like to see where you showcase your photos, so please feel free to add them to the comments of this thread.
